Bridal Portraits

Here is a sneak peek at my bridal portraits! Mom and Erin spent the long day with me getting hair and makeup done and driving for hours before shooting for 4 hours. Thanks fam!

We went to about 4 different locations and took over 500 photos. These are just a few she has shown me. We were in a wind tunnel for some of them and some people on downtown Fort Smith saw my tulle.

Love you all and see most of you in a couple of days!!

My Dress Fitting!

I had my dress fitting today! Anita the cooky seamstress made everything perfect. She even added some extra boob-age to make the bodess look better. Go Anita!

This is how my bustle will look when it's all said and done. Bridesmaids - you've got your work cut out for you. 27 ties! They are all numbered.

My dress with the bustle is kinda like a mullett - straight in the front, party in the back.

PS. If you need your bridesmaids dress taken in Anita said it would be no problem. She said it can't be let out though so suck in!
BFF - Don't worry, baby BFF bump will look beautiful on the big day.

Love love,
Rach

Flowers Galore ...

This is what happens when you test an online flower wholesaler from Columbia, they get caught in customs because they "had bugs in them," then the wholesaler sends you new ones and the other ones show up 3 days later. You end up with LOTS of roses! I'm not complaining. It makes my house smell great! Erin even took 24 of them so this isn't even all of them!

(And no there were no bugs in them).

Hello Vodka ... it's me the Bride.

And THIS is what happens when you want a signature drink and all you know is that you want it to be blue ... experimentation.

Matt left today for his man trip. His "lasts days of freedom" ended about 3 years ago.
I can't wait for Vegas!!!!!

My girly shoes!

Check out my super girly shoes! I love them. They have sparkles and a bow! No one will see them, but I'll feel fancy.
I also got a pair in silver just in case. I need opinions...

Hey gals. I found these great shoes at Warren's this weekend, so I went ahead and bought them. Becuase 1, they were only 19 dollas, yo! and because 2, I think they'll be perfect for the big day. Now, I'm usually a 71/2, or an 8, and they only had them in an 81/2, so I got those, but with shoe pads, they are fine and comfy. I don't think now that I'd even want the 8, as I like my tootsies to have plenty of room.

Anyway, this link will hook you up if you want them, otherwise, bride says "everybody can find their own as long as they're peep toe, and they can get these if they want them."

I'm just sayin' that they're a bargain, and they're comfy. Here's the view from the top. Please pardon my man-veins in my feet. I'm in luck if I ever need a blood transfusion. Geeees.

Love always, Matron

Real sash vs. no-sash pics

The great sash debate. In person, I really preferred no sash.. because we are going to have to fix the sash to the existing black sash so it doesn't look jank. And I think the no-sash, or black existing sash, or whatever we'll call it makes it a bit more formal. But in these pictures, I like the sash. But I have to trust my in-person judgement.

I also vote strapless over strapped.

I gotta find a liiiiittle biiity tuxedo too. :)
I don't think the blue sash will be bad, per se, I just don't know. Conflicted. I offered to wear some crazy blue stilletos, but Rachy said no.
